'To believe' is the key...
There was a village where there was no sufficient rain since two consecutive years. People were experiencing shortage of water. Villagers planned to arrange a Pooja to worship Indra Dev, God of rains. Everyone got engaged in preparation. And the Pooja day arrived. Almost everyone from the village came to the Pooja place. After some time one boy came. And everyone started looking at him. Why? The boy had an umbrella open in his hand. One of the men standing beside him asked," Beta aapne chhata kyoo khol rakhaa hain?" The boy replied,"Chacha hum log Indra Dev ki Pooja karne jaa rahe hain. Indra Dev ki Pooja karnese bareesh to aahi jayegee. To main bheeg jaaoongaa na. Isliye maine chhata khol rakha hain." The man got surprised with a sense of hope.
I had heard this story long time back from someone or I read it somewhere. I don't remember exactly. But I totally remember the meaning and the message of the story. It such a hopeful message!
Isn't it true and necessary that we should believe in our prayers? Do we all really believe in our prayers? God knows.
If we are praying for something then first we should learn to believe in it. Otherwise prayers are just alphabet. We should start seeing and feeling the power in those words. It's very much there. Words do possess the power. The only requirement of prayers to manifest it is our degree of belief. The more we believe in our prayer, the deeper and quicker results we will get.
It may happen that while praying we may get some negative thoughts, we may doubt I our prayer. It's okay. It happens. But we should know that the moment we start doubt our prayer, the very next moment we should tune into the positivity. We shouldn't think about 'how' and 'when' our prayers will come true. That shouldn't be our concern. The supreme power will take care of 'how' and 'when' part of the prayer. We just need to believe.
We don't need to pray with loud voice. We can remain silent and still can pray. The only need is 'to believe'. One thing we need to be careful about that our prayers have to be specific. 'Law of attraction' followers would know the meaning of what I mean by 'being specific'. If we want to become happy in our life, we should specify what do we mean by happiness. Do I want material happiness, career related happiness, relationship related happiness or spiritual happiness? What do I exactly mean by happiness? That I need to specify in my prayer. But the extremely important requirement is that we should first know what do we exactly want and why we want. And once you are confirmed with what you want then start praying and start believing with all your mental energy. And see the miracles.
In Marathi we say, 'मानला तर देव नाहीतर दगड'. It's true.
So let's start believing in our prayers strongly and with full devotion. Believe in any power, be it God, your parents, your Guru, your friends, in yourself or anyone or anything. But believe completely. It will surely give you results.
Have a 'believing day'...
Take care... :)
